What is the Northern Lakes Chapter?

The Northern Lakes Chapter of the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors is a regional organization representing the majority of professional land surveyors licensed to practice in northern Wisconsin. The Chapter was founded in 1960 as a professional organization dedicated to the following objectives and goals:

"The purpose of the organization shall be to promote the common good and welfare of members engaged in the practice of land surveying, to foster high standards of professional ethics and practice, and thus encourage public faith in the reliance of land surveyors and their work, to promote the study of land surveying, problems and the education of land surveyors."

The Northern Lakes Chapter holds the distinction of being the first local chapter to affiliate with the Wisconsin Society of Land Surveyors. Download a brief history (pdf) to learn more about us!

Membership in the Chapter is open to anyone with an interest in the issues facing the surveying profession in northern Wisconsin. Download the membership application (pdf) and join us!

The Northern Lakes Chapter meets four times per year, usually in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Monitor the following RSS news feed to get the latest information on the next meeting!
